Established in 1970 (as "Perry Aviation") Nelson, Danny and Glen Ezell, in addition to operating the company as an airport, restored and maintained all types of light aircraft. In 1976 the three brothers formed "Ezell Airmotive" and began using their fabricating and aircraft maintenance expertise to manufacture aircraft-quality airboats and a limited number of aluminum fuel tanks. In 1980 Nelson moved to Texas to pursue a career in antique aviation restoration.

In 1986 Danny and Glen discontinued the airboat manufacturing due to an increasing demand from boat builders for their top-quality fuel tanks. In 1987 Glen opened a fabrication facility in New Mexico. Danny incorporated the company as EZELL INDUSTRIES to service the increasing marine tank industry.

Exceeding existing manufacturing standards, EZELL INDUSTRIES establishes unsurpassed quality benchmarks in the production of marine tanks. EZELL INDUSTRIES tanks are designed and produced using aircraft oriented practices and tolerances. All coated units are extensively prepped. Maintaining our reputation for weld penetration and integrity, new welders (regardless of experience) receive specialized training before producing our products. From meticulous attention to detail to our vigilance in testing procedures, EZELL INDUSTRIES stands second to none in the production of top quality aluminum tanks.

EZELL INDUSTRIES understands the boating industry environment, from it's short lead times and erratic production schedules to boat show emergencies and consumer appeasement.
